RevSure Taxonomies provide the foundation for creating unified business hierarchies that bring consistency to marketing insights. The platform offers three key capabilities: Custom Dimension, Business Mapping, and Campaign Channel Classification, each designed to standardize and align data across connected sources for accurate reporting, attribution, and analysis.

Custom Dimension

RevSure provides a standard entity model that maps objects from connected data sources such as Salesforce, Marketo, Pardot, and others. Users can define new custom dimensions by applying logic or conditions on top of existing standard dimensions. These dimensions represent business taxonomies such as GTM Motion, Teams, Business Units, and Market Segment.

Custom dimensions enable business-aligned views of marketing performance by allowing users to create tailored perspectives that match their organizational requirements. Users can create custom dimensions by defining a name and computation logic, rename or redefine existing custom dimensions as business logic evolves, use them across modules, and delete them when they are no longer required.

Business Mapping

Business Mapping allows users to transform or standardize data by creating or updating dimensions through value mappings across entities for consistent reporting. RevSure enables users to perform data transformation and mapping within the platform to align data structures with business needs.

Users can create new derived dimensions or update existing ones by combining or remapping values from one or more base dimensions. These mappings help standardize and unify data across entities such as Campaign, Lead, Account, and Opportunity. Business mapping ensures consistent taxonomies and derived fields that power accurate reporting and attribution analysis.

Users can create new dimensions by defining the name, entity, and base dimensions, update existing dimensions using new value mappings, and associate campaign or activity dimensions with Lead, Account, and Opportunity entities, which automatically generates first-touch and last-touch variants. Users can upload mappings in bulk using a CSV file or update them directly within the UI, and they can edit, delete, or filter existing mappings for easy management.

Campaign Channel Classification

Campaign Channel Classification standardizes raw campaign data into clean, consistent Channel and Sub-Channel taxonomies for accurate marketing attribution and reporting. RevSure enables users to define powerful, no-code Campaign Channel Classification rules that automatically categorize raw campaign inputs from various sources, such as HubSpot and Salesforce.

Users construct classification rules by selecting from all available campaign dimensions, including source system, type, and UTM data, and combining them with a comprehensive set of logical and extraction operators, including AND, OR, IN, LIKE, and JSON_EXTRACT. This mechanism forces a consistent standard, transforming disparate, raw campaign data into clean, business-aligned Channel and Sub-Channel taxonomies that are essential for accurate reporting and attribution analysis.

Users can map any valid rule condition to both Channel and Sub-Channel levels, create and manage custom classification rules with multi-level logical nesting, leverage AI to automatically classify any campaign that fails to match a defined rule, and reorder rules via drag-and-drop.
